ATLANTA SMOKE ALARM PROGRAM (A.S.A.P.)

The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department wants to ensure each home in the City of Atlanta has a working smoke alarm.

In 2005: 1,113 Smoke Alarms Installed

In 2006: 3,395 Smoke Alarms Installed

In 2007: 1,035 Smoke Alarms Installed

Our volunteers receive a tremendous feeling of accomplishment knowing how they helped keep another City of Atlanta resident safe from fires. 

They also feel a sense of camaraderie when working closely together with firefighters within the community.
